Violinist Christopher Herz is an internationally recognized soloist and chamber musician. He has performed solo and chamber recitals in Japan, Switzerland, and across the United States alongside artists such as Juan Miguel Hernandez, Ben Hong, the JACK Quartet, Todd Reynolds, Nicholas Photinos, and members of the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra.

Mr. Herz enjoys collaborating with fellow musicians on a wide range of repertoire. He regularly performs in the Louisville and Evansville orchestras, and has performed with the Bach Cantata Project, Eastman Repertory Singers, Beal Institute Film Project, Musica Nova, and OSSIA.

Community outreach is a crucial facet of performing classical music for Mr. Herz, who currently serves as the Beginning Strings Instructor for the Monroe County Community School District in Bloomington, and previously teaching violin at the Eastman Community Music School.

Mr. Herz is currently completing his Doctoral studies at the Indiana University, Jacobs School of Music under the guidance of Professor Mark Kaplan.
