The program includes Trio by Margaret Brouwer, a vibrant and expressive three-movement work; Charles Hoag’s imaginative Inventions on the Summer Solstice, evoking midsummer imagery through inventive musical scenes; Recordando una melodía olvidada by Roberto Sierra, rich with Latin American lyrical nostalgia; and Alan Hovhaness’s evocative Lake Samish, Op. 415, a mystical suite blending Western and Eastern influences.
